Great to hear that Jack Monroe's efforts to raise awareness over the disproportionate effect of food inflation on lower earners have had some effect, in that the ONS is now revising the data points for their inflation indices to reflect a broader range of experience. Whether fewer people will need to access food banks is another matter, but this is a case of 'she spoke, they listened', at least.
